3K Football Club are gearing up for what promises to be a defining campaign in the National Super League (NSL) as they chase a historic promotion to the FKF Premier League.
The Thika-based side impressed in their debut NSL season but narrowly missed out on a playoff spot. Now, with a year’s experience under their belt, 3K FC are going all out to seal promotion at the second attempt.
Assistant coach Moses Munene confirmed that the club has been active in the transfer market, bringing in fresh legs to sharpen their competitiveness.
Among the headline signings are Titus Kapchanga from FKF Premier League side Murang’a SEAL and Salasya Otieno from Juja Sporting. More recruits are expected to be unveiled in the coming days as the transfer window edges towards closure.
At the same time, the club has seen some departures:
Despite these exits, Munene remains confident.
“We still have a strong core squad, and the new signings are expected to boost our competitiveness,” he told the press.
3K FC have already lined up a series of friendly matches to fine-tune fitness levels and integrate new arrivals into the squad. Munene believes this preparation will give the team the edge they need when the season kicks off.
The assistant coach emphasized that only one regular starter from last season has left, meaning the team still retains its backbone while adding much-needed depth.
After falling short last season, the mission is clear: secure FKF Premier League football. With better experience, a stronger squad, and renewed hunger, 3K FC are determined to make their sophomore NSL season one to remember.
⚽ Futaa Fisaa Verdict: 3K FC look sharper, hungrier, and more balanced this season. If their new signings settle quickly, expect them to be right in the promotion mix.
